My professor put an item on course reserve. What does that mean and where do I find it?

Answer

Course Reserves are class materials that instructors put on hold for their students in the library. Most of these materials are available for in library use only, but some can be checked out for 24 hours. DVDs can be checked out for 3 hours.

All reserve materials are kept behind the InfoDesk and can be checked out to you by an InfoDesk assistant.

The library has a catalog of all course reserves. It's a good idea to check to see if the book you're looking for is available.
